Milesburg / Ridge Rd Climb from 233 to Big Flats Ridge

This long moderately difficult climbing segment starts at the Route 233 turnoff to Long Pine Reservoir. Climb Milesburng road up to reservoir where it levels off for a while. As you pass the reservoir the gradient kicks up a bit and begins a stairstep style climb to Ridge Road. The segment finishes off with a steep half mile climb up to the top of Ridge Road. You can continue to follow Ridge Road back to Shippensburg Road and over to the Big Flats parking lot or descend towards Pine Grove Furnace State Park.
